We count every wedding we capture a complete privilege and look forward to hearing all about yours. No two weddings are the same and no two couples are the same – that's why we tailor our processes to suit your requirements and vision for the big day.

PRE WEDDING
Hi there.
I'm Jo, one of the photographers here at Orange Sunshine. Our processes generally are a bit as follows:
Once your date is locked in, we like to make sure we have everything covered. We'll be sending you some questionnaires to make sure we have a good understanding of your plans and the vision you have for the day.
One of the first things we like to nut out with you is the timeline. After that, we always aim to do a location scout of your venue to get an understanding of photo opportunities and light.
In the lead up to your wedding the communication lines are open, we're here for you.
While we like to be organised in the lead up to your wedding, on the actual day, we aim to keep things very relaxed. We've put in the prep so the day will unfold naturally.

THE WEDDING DAY
We like to arrive around a half hour prior to your ceremony so we can be there for your guest arrivals as well as the groom and his men.
After the ceremony, we love to capture those natural photos of the hugs and greetings.
Generally group and family photos come after this then off to take the formal photos of you and your bridal party.
Sometimes you may want to spend a bit more time with your guests after the ceremony, you may have a garden or cocktail party going on. We are totally flexible and love it when couples break the traditional mould.

GIRLS GETTING READY
This is such a fun and relaxed time where you hang with your closest friends and family.
During this time we capture the beautiful details – the wedding dress, shoes, accessories, perfume and bouquets as well as you having your hair and makeup done, sharing a laugh and champagne with the girls.
Things that can make this time special include popping a bottle of champagne, matching outfits, dad's first look.

GUYS GETTING READY
A time to have some fun with the guys before getting ‘hitched’.
We capture the groomsmen hanging together and having a few drinks prior to getting dressed up and heading off to the ceremony.
Sometimes guys head to the barber or play a game of golf to add a bit of fun which makes for a great photo opportunities.

RECEPTION
Reception is the time when you get to relax and really celebrate. The formalities are over. All eyes are on you as you make your grand entrance.
Before your guests arrive and fill it up, we want to capture the beautiful styling.
During reception coverage we aim to capture your entrance, interaction between guests, laughter and tears during speeches, the cutting of the cake and first dances.
One of the best reasons to have your reception covered by a professional is to do with lighting. It's always much darker and trickier to get photos by guests.
Before your guests arrive and fill it up, we want to capture the beautiful styling.
During reception coverage we aim to capture your entrance, interaction between guests, laughter and tears during speeches, the cutting of the cake and first dances.

THE PHOTOS
Within a few days, we'll share a peek of your wedding. Then we will be hard at work editing all images.
Processing the images are two thirds of what it is to be a photographer and we aim to have this finalised within six weeks (sooner if we are able).
Then we create a story of your day and upload them to an online gallery. This will allow you to share and download with family and friends.
Once the photos are ready we send them to you on a USB in high and low res for printing and social media.
Our Packages include a presentation box which will also have a selection of prints sharing the story of your day.
