Stephanie and Jeremy’s Story

Jeremy and I happened to meet through my old housemate and just started talking and hanging out more often.

We can both tell you the exact day we realised something was there between us and that we both might actually have feelings for each other.

We went out for our first date which was amazing, it was just a classic dinner and then went for dessert in Hamilton near eat street, we had a wonderful time. from there we started spending more and more time together before Jeremy asked me to be his girlfriend after we had been at a work Christmas party.

fast forward a few years and we decided in 2019 that we would go for a holiday around Europe (it was a 5 week trip), we also happened to put a deposit down for a puppy while in Paris (we got a miniature dachshund, we picked him up when we got back) me still oblivious to what Jeremy had planned at the end of the trip with the last place we planned to go to being London

Jeremy had organised half way through the year with his Aunty who was meeting us in Ireland for her son’s wedding to have an engagement ring brought over with her so Jeremy didn’t have to worry or stress about having a ring with him the whole trip.

He hid the fact that he was going to ask me to marry him so well, i couldn’t even tell he was nervous at all. The day he had decided to pop the question we decided to go have a look at the Tower Bridge (which is spectacular in person, photos don’t do it justice)

He had told me to turn and face the bridge so he could get photos of me looking at it and when i turned around there he was on one knee, nervous as hell he couldn’t even say his speech he had planned. When he got those ‘Will you Marry me’ words out my brain froze, and I ended up saying “What” before it sunk in pretty much straight after that and I said yes!

A Note about this session from Jo. these guys brought such a great attitude to the photo session, they were just ‘on’ for me the whole time, they were prepared for the length of time it took and could just keep going. Often times really great photos come at the end of a session so it’s good to keep a great attitude even if it feels like you’ve ‘done this’ before…..
